Catacombs of Pain Judge Seymour hides behind judicial robe

Judge Seymour referred our request for an interview in his November 2007 response to Miss Susan Gard, in the capacity "in house" public relations with Department of Industrial Relations in San Francisco, CA. Apparently Ms. Gard opines our request as public nuisance, despite our request is done on behalf of public interest.

Robert Capa

People's Postcode Lottery Scotland Winner in Alexandria G83 9QP

This week's Street Prize saw Angus travel to Alexandria, near Dumbarton where G83 9QP residents shared an amazing £25000! The first port of call was a house containing not one, but two lucky winners! Brother and sister Robert Blair and Anne Colraine live underneath the same roof and both were recipients of £6250 cheques! "I thought I saw Angus coming up the drive!" said a shocked Anne. "This is terrific - I might buy a new car." Robert revealed that it was his idea to sign up for the lottery and, when asked what he would spend his winnings on, said: "I'm not going to save it for a rainy day, that's for sure!" Next winner 58-year-old Georgina signed up for two People Postcode Lottery tickets on a whim just last year, and had just popped home from work when she and retired husband Eric discovered their windfall. I opened the door to Angus, saw a huge cheque and a camera crew and thought - this cant just be for a few hundred quid! the delighted winner revealed. Weve just bought a car so the money might very well go to paying that off, and Im sure my son James will get a little something too, said the generous mum of one. Georginas afternoon at work was certainly brightened after her win as she and co-workers celebrated with sparkling fruit juice and cakes: Everybody wanted to see my cheque, theyre almost as delighted as I am! Not content with giving away £30000, Angus had one more stop off before returning homewards - to the house of David Seymour, whose teacher wife found ...

Henri Cartier-Bresson Part2

Henri Cartier-Bresson Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004) was a French photographer considered to be the father of modern photojournalism, an early adopter of 35 mm format, and the master of candid photography. He helped develop the "street photography" style that has influenced generations of photographers that followed. Trained as a painter, he began his career in photography in 1931 on a trip to the Ivory Coast. He was one of the first photographers to shoot in the 35mm format with a Leica camera, and helped to develop the photojournalistic "street photography" style that influenced generations of photographers to come. It was there on the Côte d'Ivoire that he contracted blackwater fever, which nearly killed him. Returning to France, Cartier-Bresson recuperated in Marseille in 1931 and deepened his relationship with the Surrealists. He became inspired by a photograph by Hungarian photojournalist Martin Munkacsi artneutre.bitacoras.com Cartier-Bresson said: "The only thing which completely was an amazement to me and brought me to photography was the work of Munkacsi. When I saw the photograph of Munkacsi of the black kids running in a wave I couldn't believe such a thing could be caught with the camera. I said damn it, I took my camera and went out into the street." The photograph inspired him to stop painting and to take up photography seriously. He explained, "I suddenly understood that a photograph could fix eternity in an instant.". He acquired the Leica camera with ...
