Biographie

Cédric Gerbehaye (30) has been working as a freelance photojournalist since graduating in journalism in 2003.

He began taking pictures in Indonesia, and made his first story on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict during his studies. He has continued with a long-term project in the Palestinian territories and Israel, as well as covering Kurdish issues in Turkey and Iraq.

In 2006, Cédric picked up two awards at the 15th National Open Photography Prize in Belgium, followed by a group exhibition at the Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi. In 2007, he received the first prize in photography young reporter category at the Bayeux award for war correspondents.

His work has appeared in numerous publications, including Le Vif/l'Express, Le Soir, Internazionale, Colors, Time.com and Le Monde 2.
