Pleasure-seekers in today's world have a range of artificial highs to choose from but it is natural ecstasy - without any chemical ingredients - that interests photographer Philippe Marinig. His exhibition title, 'Natural Ecstasy', evokes pleasurable states of mind and his series of photographs aims to capture sensuous feelings of pleasure. This is achieved primarily through aerial photographs, where forms 'seem to slip and slideÖ Everything is in a continuous state of flux, an ebb and flow ready to meet.'

Marinig, who grew up in the south of France, has studied in Boston and worked in Paris. In 1992, he established a photographic studio in South Africa.
