Patrick Taberna's images are extremely impressive. Because of the stability of tone, they are rather dark, those images bring people a feelings of uneasiness. Sometimes they blur,sometimes they are out of focus, and this emphasize the story of unknown place. At the same time, the story, with a familiar elements like hands, legs, scissors and playing card, recall one's memories and touch the feelings of something like dream then finally to nostalgia. This is why his style of photography gains symphathy and his images are widely accepted. His works are excellent because he never changes his taste of photograpghing during one series to another.

This is his first exhibition in Japan. We exhibit total images of 36 from "Au Fil Des Jours" series. Patrick Taberna will visit Kobe around the end of exhibition and talk live show will be scheduled on 23rd Sep, the final day.
