In 1998, Simone Mangos began to research the site of the former Ministerial Gardens in Berlin and subsequently the emergence of the 'Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe'. Her works explore the different stages in the memorial building process; the controversies, reactions and campaigns, which took place around them; memory and its representation.

With 590 photographs taken by 250 different Chinese photographers, this exhibition, organized by the Guangdong Museum of Art in Guangzhou, offers a wide-ranging panorama of life in modern China.
