Biographie

Né en 1917 (Plainfield - New Jersey) C'est essentiellement un photographe de mode, car il travaille longtemps pour le magazine Vogue américain. Fond uni, maîtrise de la lumière, élégance des formes, sont autant de signes qui caractérisent ses images. Il travaille essentiellement en noir et blanc et s'attarde longuement à soigner un style épuré et simple. Les femmes qu'il photographie y sont élégantes, sophistiquées... et parfois célèbres....
