Biographie

Herbert List est un artiste qui a combiné l'amour de la photographie avec une fascination pour le surréalisme et le classicisme. Il débute en tant qu'apprenti chez un vendeur de café à Heidelberg alors qu'il étudie la littérature et l'histoire de l'art à l'univesité d'Heidelberg. En 1951, List rencontre Robert Capa qui le persuade de devenir contributeur de Magnum....
