Biographie Est une photographe américaine (1923-1971) Born in 1923, Diane Nemerov grew up in a wealthy family in New York City and was educated at the Ethical Culture School, a progressive institution. At 18 she married Allan Arbus and began taking photographs. Asked by her father to produce some advertising images for his fashionable Fifth Avenue store, the couple began collaborating, with Diane as stylist and Allan as the photographer.
