Biographie

Est né le (22 octobre 1913 à Budapest, de son vrai nom Endre Ernö Friedmann, c'était un photographe américain d'origine hongroise. Il fut peut être l'un des photographes de guerre les plus célèbres. Il a couvert les plus grands conflits contemporains. Il est mort en Indochine le 25 mai 1954). Lorsqu'il décida en 1931 de quitter sa ville natale pour Berlin, il avait pour objectif de faire carrière dans la photographie.
