This is a beautiful piece composed by my YouTube friend Pascal Meunier, known as Qpidon here ( au.youtube.com ). When I heard it, I immediately grabbed my old Strat and started sliding along, which sparked off an idea: why not get Pascal to send me the video and audio of his film, I'd record a part and film it here in Australia and edit the two together into a new movie? So that's what I did today. We hope you enjoy the result!

I never heard the original version, only "Hiro" on guitar and his brother (KenjiMatuzaki) on piano. They also forewarded me the tabs, I whish to thank them here. Its a beautifull tune in DADGAD, composed by Masaaki Kishibe. Ironicly, I spend my entire summer learning Tommy Emmanuel's songs one after the other to finnaly post something completely different. But than again: I realy hope you like it as much as I had funn playing it! Take care. Pascal

I searched for a long time for a nice version of this immortal tune. As this tune has a special place in my life. To my astonnishment, I saw an 11 year old Korean boy playing this marvelously. I wrote him asking for the tab, and his dad informed me that it was his 11 year old son that wrote the tab...Obviously this video is dedicated to this wonderboy. Check him out, ok? Yup..yet another Bensusan. Can't help it. Maybe I need therapy...? Probably, lol (It was my fervent dream to attend Bensusan's seminar this summer, but crisis here in Spain has got the better of most of working people here. I'm not an exception.) I still feel tremendously sad - and affected- when I think about it..... because I'm sure that that seminar would have helped me to cut that umbilical chord ...) oh well... ;-( I posted a previous version of me playing this on my facebook page a while ago, and I was convinced I completely fluked that version, BUT, strangely enough it got tremendously "popular" (as far as a fingerstyle tune can get "popular", of course -lets nuance this here ;-D but like my good friend François says: " Even good music sounds GREAT on a beach radio...!"" In any case, I taught I would do a new version for you here on youtube: and that is: only because I like you !!! ;-D I play this composition frequently in the evening on my balcony, here at southern Spain, and when I do-watching African coastline, at times a beautiful African cloud fly's by... and when I spot a cloud beautiful enough to represent the DADGAD Égrégore, I play this tune just a touch louder.....as if I posted a postcard directed to Bensusan himself; a postcard to thank him from the bottom of my heart, for filling my life with utter joy and happiness... Just a brief hello to all my YouTube friends. Greetings from South Carolina, United States of America. My newest great-niece who is 7 months old. We were at the home of my father and step-mother. My father, step-mother, mother, one of my sisters, one of my nieces, one of my nephews, two of my great-nieces, a friend and some of my father's neighbors were present during the recording on July 3, 2008. Les Poppys is a French musical group of 17 children founded 1946 in Asnières, France by Jean Amoureux as Les Petits Chanteurs d'Asnières and renamed to Les Poppys in 1970. Francois Bernheim, former singer of the group Les Roche-Martin and artistic director for the record company Barclay, discovered the singers in 1970 and decided to create a group called Les Poppys, named after the word 'Pop Music'. Les Poppys originated from the Hippie movement and made songs against the Vietnam War. 17 boys from the choir were then selected and recorded their first single: 'Noel 70'. The success came very quickly and 600000 copies were sold. This first single was then followed by other hits during the 70's: 'Isabelle, je t'aime' (500000 copies sold). The most successful chanson was Non, non, rien n'a changé which sold 1200000 copies and was a number one hit in The Netherlands and stayed in the Dutch Top 40 for 25 weeks. Les Poppys became the first child stars in French music history and were quickly invited by other countries to sing in galas, concerts and TV shows. In The Netherlands and in Germany, they even sold more records than the Beatles! In 4 years, Les Poppys sold more than 5 million records and produced four albums and 20 singles from 1970 to 1977. Their success inspired the New Poppys and other groups such as Mercredi Libre from members of Les Petits Chanteurs D'Asiniers.
