The Fund and School of Photography "Petersburg's Photo Workshops" , L`Officiel magazine, faculty "Design of a dress" of St.-Petersburg State art-industrial academy named after Baron Stieglitz and Fashion House Tatiana Parfionova are organizing and carrying out a short-term school of photography Summer International Photo Workshops "PHOTOGRAPHY AND FASHION", from June, 26th till July, 2nd in St.-Petersburg.

The PROGRAM of Summer Photo Workshops includes:

- different courses devoted to different directions of fashion photography

- master-classes of well-known Russian and foreign photographers

- shootings in studios, on podiums and at fashion shows

- lectures, seminars and discussions about fashion and modern photography, history of fashion and history of fashion photography, about photography in interior, photography for magazines, etc.

- portfolio-revue

- exhibition "A Lady’sWardrobe" where there are works both of well-known and young Petersburg authors (partner of the exhibition, Kodak company, prints format photos)

- show of collections of young and well-known Petersburg fashion designers and a final multimedia exhibition of photos of teachers and pupils of Summer Photo Workshops "Photo and Fashion" in the Elagin palace

- the lecture program for experts of fashion, advertising, design, interior design, publishing business

- other events open for connoisseurs of fashion photography.

During the TRAINING students:

- will receive a unique opportunity of dialogue with the well-known and skilled photographers shooting for the Russian and foreign fashion editions;

- will get acquainted with "kitchen" of fashion shootings with participation of professionals of all spheres of fashion business: fashion designers, editors of magazines, stylists, visagistes, photographers, photo editors, representatives of fashion agencies, etc;

- can take part in photo session for the glossy magazine;

- will get the idea about processes existing in sphere of fashion photography and fashion editions, about history and development of modern fashion photography from lectures, master-classes and conversations;

- will master methods, techniques and niceties of studio-shootings and open-air-shootings, work with models, stage-photography and shootings of the picture story from the world of a fashion

- can lead night shooting offashion during the unique summer phenomenon - the White nights in St.-Petersburg;

- can receive prizes for the best works from our partners upon the results of Summer Photo Workshops.

The Photo Workshop Number 1. The WORLD of the FASHION WITHOUT MAKE-UP

This Workshop consists of 2 Themes.

- Yuri Molodkovets, the resident photographer of the Magazines “ELLE”, “The Hermitage” and “Interior and Design”

The 2 nd, July, Sunday. The Fashion Show of collections of young and well-known Designers from St.Petersburg and a final multi-media Exhibition of Photos the Members of Summer Photo Workshops "Photography and Fashion" in the Elagin Palace.

CONDITIONS of ADMISSION and PAYMENT

Photographers, wishing to take part in Summer Photo Workshops, should fill out the application form and make an advance payment of 50 c.u. (1 c.u. is 30 rub). THE PROGRAM SCHEDULE

Weekly studying consists of daily classes with the teacher, different shootings, casting and discussion of ready pictures from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m., and also evening meeting events, master-classes and lection about fashion Photos.

Every Photographer from Russia and other countries, who is interested in this Summer Photo Workshops has an opportunity to attend it. There is no age restriction. Graduated Students will get a certificate in English and Russian Languages about attending Masters Workshop with a list of studying program and certified by all organizers of Summer Photo Workshops.
