Il giorno 7 giugno con orari 16,00 › 22.00 e nei giorni 8 e 9 giugno con orari 10.00 › 21.00 dai Giardini della Biennale sarà attivo un servizio navetta gratuito / A free shuttle boat service to the island of San Servolo will run from the Giardini della Biennale on the 7th June from 4 pm to 10 pm and on the 8th and 9th of June from 10 am to 9 pm.

L’isola di San Servolo si sta affermando come uno dei maggiori centri di produzione di eventi artistici nella città di Venezia. Light ON San Servolo, a partire da quest’anno, accomunerà le iniziative dedicate alla ricerca nell’ambito della fotografia e dei nuovi media. Due sono le manifestazioni che Light ON San Servolo, in collaborazione con la Provincia di Venezia, propone: la mostra fotografica Shot and Go – a vision of today’s international photography e V07 2nd Venice Videoart Fair, prodotta e organizzata da Veneziafiere.

The island of San Servolo is asserting itself as one of the largest centres for the production of artistic events in the City of Venice. Light ON San Servolo, starting from this year, will share the initiatives dedicated to research in the field of photography and new media. Light ON San Servolo, in collaboration with the Province of Venice, proposes two manifestations: the photographic exhibition Shot and Go – a vision of today’s international photography and V07 2nd Venice Videoart Fair, produced and organised by Veneziafiere.

Dopo le esperienze degli anni scorsi con le mostre Italian Camera e Lampi sull’acqua. La città visibile, ritorna a San Servolo la fotografia d’autore con i lavori di 15 artisti: Marco Bohr (Germania), Elina Brotherus (Finlandia), Filipa César (Portogallo), Lia Chavez (USA), Song Chao (Cina), Katerina Držková (Repubblica Ceca), Tarin Gartner (Israele), Claudio Gobbi (Italia), Rémy Lidereau (Francia), Brigitte Niedermair (Francia), Stefania Romano (Italia), Johann Ryno de Wet (Sud Africa), Martina Sauter (Germania), Mieke Van De Voort (Olanda) e Alejandro Vidal (Spagna).

La mostra verrà inaugurata giovedì 7 giugno alle ore 17.00 e resterà aperta fino al 31 luglio, escluso il lunedì, con orario 11.00 › 18.00.

The exhibition will be inaugurated Thursday 7th June at 17.00.

V07 2ndVenice Videoart Fair

Una fiera dedicata alla video arte, con la presenza di alcune tra le più importanti gallerie internazionali che propongono questo linguaggio: 2 Roads (Italia); Galerie Mamia Bretesché Paris (Francia); Art Futures@2300 Studio Gallery (USA); Bleu Acier (USA); Canem Galeria (Spagna); Cimatics Platform (Belgio); Croart Gallery (Croazia); Douz and Mille (USA); Enrico Fornello (Italia); Fabio Paris Art Gallery (Italia), Gagliardi Art System (Italia); Galeria SicArt (Spagna); Next Door Artgalleria (Italia); Nt Art Gallery (Italia); Quang Gallery (Francia); Walsh Gallery (USA). Completano l’offerta culturale della fiera due videorassegne dedicate al video italiano, una a quello sudamericano e una videoinstallazione di Dominik Lejman. La fiera verrà inaugurata venerdì 8 giugno alle ore 17.00 e si potrà visitare anche sabato 9 con orario 10.00 › 19.00. 8th › 9th june

The island of San Servolo periodically hosts temporary exhibitions and exhibits a permanent collection of works of art.
